Lace Collar and cuffs, crocheted. Copy of Bedfordshire bobbin lace. Collar - the "cord" is crocheted around a thread(s). Note the join on the cuffs, it is a crochet join. Crocheted lace fragment is a crocheted copy of Torchon Bobbin lace. Fragment has scalloped edge. Tag found with items reads "Lace made by Mrs. Emma Jane Taulman, Bryan, Texas, in 1880." Accession file says "lace made in 1868 (Taulman)."
