Hill Texas Archive Research Notes
Title and illustration on p. 210, Sketch 14, of the book German Artist on the Texas Frontier: Friedrich Richard Petri, by William W. Newcomb, Jr., published by University of Texas Press, 1978. The landscape setting with a tower on a hill in the distance and pruned trees could indicate that this was drawn in Germany or remembering Germany.
