Biedermeier style washstand, known as open washstand, skirt is mortised, molding on upper section applied, hole in center to hold wash basin, two piece rectangular top with tongue and groove joining, two board shelf with tongue and groove joinery has molded frames at sides, top and shelf are glued to legs.
