Bigfoot Wallace's buckskin coat testifies to his extraordinary size; he stood 6'2" in his stocking feet, weighed 240 lbs. And possessed a physical strength which became legendary. According to family tradition, Bigfoot left his coat with his family during a trip to Virginia in 1859. The sleeves were replaced by family members later.
