Portion sewn on left, ecru color thread, with 5" of thread (two pieces) not sewn into pattern. Needlework hand made by Bertha Corea Hutchison. Original catalog card describes as "lace work in progress attached to pattern." Bertha Corea Hutchison was the daughter of Katherine and William Edwin Hutchison. Accession note (17848c), from deed of gift: "A collection of memorabilia belonging to descendants of Lorenzo de Zavala, Sr. (an interim vice president of the Republic of Texas, 1836) and Emily West, his second wife."
