Dress, Infant's. White (yellowed with age) linen (or cotton cloth) dress, with long sleeves. Plain, no design. Hemline, one inch. Closes at back with thin ties (at top) and two small buttons. Fair condition, moderate to severe staining, moderate discoloration. Moderate wrinkling. These articles of children's clothing (18372c1-9) belonged to the Reverend and Mrs. James (Rhoda Barton) Huckins. The Huckins' had four daughters born between 1833 and 1845.
