Plain wooden walking cane. Curved handle. Nail in butt of handle. Untipped. Belonged to William Winters, veteran of San Jacinto and uncle of the donor. Two other members of the Winters family also fought at the battle. Believed to have been made by a servant of Sam Houston during the Texas Revolution.
