Hasp is "Y" shaped iron bar with three holes in it to screw it to door. Other end of hasp is a loop that fits into lock and held by bolt. Hasp is secured in lock now. Lock is an iron plate with four holes to screw it to door and one intricately shaped keyhole. No tumblers inside lock so it was just the intricately shaped keyhole that secured it. Key would turn lever to release bolt and hasp.
