Cow bell was made from one piece of iron that was bent into bell shape and crimped and riveted at joints. Top has iron loop that is inserted into top of bell at ends. Clapper is a long iron shaft with ball at bottom and loop at top, which is connected to pin. Bell has wire wrapped around loop. Bell belonged to Lemuel Chambers and was used on his ranch since 1886.
