Description
Three men stand next to surveying equipment in front of a spanish moss-covered tree along the bank of a bayou. A saddled horse is tied up to a leafless bush. The man in the center rests his left hand on a tripod supporting a transit. A card photograph. Written on back of copy 1: Surveying group San Jacinto Battleground identified from left to right: Wm R. Andrews, Wm McCrea and the 3rd believed to be a Mr. Miller who owned Peggy's Lake. Written on front of copy 2: San Jacinto Battle Ground Tract Dec. 19. '93.
