The William J. Hill Texas Artisans and Artists Archive project would like your feedback!

We want to know if you have used our website and found it helpful, and how we can make it more user-friendly. We welcome questions regarding information found on our website, and can provide information about forthcoming items.

Although we triple check all our data before it goes online, mistakes happen. If you notice inaccuracies or outdated information on our website or if you have suggestions for primary resources to include on our website, please let us know. Private collectors are encouraged to share their collection pictures and information on pre-1900 Texas Artisans and Artists. We have a dedicated team of MFAH workers and over 20 volunteers who read and transcribe 19th century documents and handwriting and enter data for our website. If you are interested in joining our team of readers, please contact us.

The William J. Hill Texas Artisans and Artists Archive project team can be found at the Kitty King Powell Library and Study Center, which is open free of charge to all individuals interested in art research.
